Alberta Health Services

Alberta Health Services (AHS) is Canada’s first fully integrated provincial health system, delivering care to nearly 4.4 million Albertans as well as some residents of Saskatchewan, B.C., and the Northwest Territories.

Tom Baker Cancer Centre

The AGAT Foundation has invested in new equipment and research initiatives at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, advancing personalized medicine and cancer care in southern Alberta.

Southern Alberta Institute of Urology

The AGAT Foundation is proud to partner with the Southern Alberta Institute of Urology (SAIU), a private institute at Rockyview General Hospital, to advance our Mental Health initiative and provide support for patients across Calgary and Southern Alberta.

Calgary Fire Department

AGAT Laboratories is proud to partner with the Calgary Fire Department on a cancer risk research project. Using innovative testing media, our scientists analyze bracelets worn by firefighters to identify toxic compounds and exposures that increase cancer risk. The study, now expanding to larger groups, may grow to include fire departments across Canada.

University of Calgary Faculty of Medicine

The AGAT Foundation has partnered with the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine and Tom Baker Cancer Centre to fund new equipment and research initiatives. These investments drive innovation in artificial intelligence, personalized medicine, cancer care, and other health research areas that directly benefit Albertans.

University of Calgary Faculty of Science

The AGAT Foundation highlights the University of Calgary Faculty of Science, a hub where curiosity sparks discovery and research helps catalyze Canada’s transformation to a vibrant, sustainable future.

Sunnybrook & the University of Toronto

In Ontario, the AGAT Foundation is collaborating with Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and the University of Toronto to create a research chair dedicated to vascular disease. This initiative focuses on preventing diabetes-related limb loss through innovative screening and care, including Dr. Papia’s mobile Doppler ultrasound clinic.

Calgary Board of Education

The AGAT Foundation collaborates with the Calgary Board of Education and Calgary Police Service on an Opioids Awareness Program, filmed at the Michael DeSanti Centre of Excellence, to educate students about the dangers of opioids.

Calgary City Teachers’ Convention

The Calgary City Teachers’ Convention is Canada’s largest conference for practicing educators, offering professional development, collaboration, and resources for teachers across Alberta.

Montreal Children’s Hospital and the Liam Foundation

The AGAT Foundation continues its support for mitochondrial disease research in partnership with the Montreal Children’s Hospital and the Liam Foundation, inspired by Liam’s journey and the urgent need for treatment breakthroughs.

Université de Montréal

Université de Montréal is a French-language public research university in Montreal, Quebec, with its main campus located on Mount Royal.

Doodle Dogs

The AGAT Foundation partnered with Doodle Dogs in 2020 to help purchase dog food for families in need. Doodle Dogs is a Calgary boutique showcasing locally handmade pet gear and unique Canadian products.

Project Ixcanaan

The Project Ixcanaan Clinic in El-Ramate, Guatemala, was an initiative by AGAT Laboratories to build a testing lab that strengthens community healthcare. Featured are Alfonso and Santos, building a wall that separates the clinic from the laboratory space.

Calgary Catholic School District

The Calgary Catholic School District serves more than 56,000 students in 118 schools across Calgary and surrounding communities, educating and empowering youth through the mission of Living and Learning in our Catholic Faith.
