In partnership with numerous organizations focused on ensuring a safe and healthy environment for pets, the AGAT Foundation helped purchase much-needed items for animal shelters in Calgary.
Supporting Parachutes for Pets and Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation with a financial donation of $25,000, funds were used to purchase pet food, clothes, and supplies. Shelters were especially in need during a difficult time around the COVID-19 pandemic.
The AGAT Foundation partnered with Doodle Dogs — a Calgary dog boutique store offering only the most chic and unique dog gear, all handmade in Calgary and across Canada — who led coordination of this initiative, bringing together Champion Petfoods and Kane Veterinary Supplies.
Together, all of those involved worked to deliver food, jackets, and other supplies to Parachutes for Pets and Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation to ensure they were able to keep their dogs and cats healthy and fed until adopted into a loving family.
Parachutes for Pets is committed to serving Calgary’s most vulnerable populations, ensuring that the bond between individuals and their pets remains unbroken even during times of hardship. Their Pet Advocacy Center provides comprehensive support, resources, and education to enable pet guardians to provide the best possible care for their beloved companions.
Pawsitive Match Rescue Foundation is a non-profit animal rescue based in Calgary. Completely volunteer-run, the organization works to save dogs and cats in life-threatening situations and gives them a second chance at life.
